NoLocalOption.com Prepares to Go Statewide-

NoLocalOption.com has
decided to retool as a state wide PAC. The group will focus on
fighting unnecessary local option votes around the state as well as
tax payer strategies.
"Our primary focus will be listening to taxpayers and helping them
get more bang for the buck," says founder George Davey.
Working with Iowan's for Discounted Taxes they hope to bring a
California Proposition 13 type property tax bill to vote in the next
General Assembly. Also in the works are amendments to the
Local Option laws to include a time out period after voters defeat
the taxation attempt as well as requiring the Local Option votes
only at general elections.
